The Amazing Son in Law/

Chapter - 6115

Chapter 6115

Hamid was oblivious to the fact that the other party had set their sights on him. He believed the true targets of these individuals were the Dragon Temple and possibly another mercenary group that had rivaled them. So, he began contemplating his predicament. Knowing that these people intended to stage a significant incident and frame Dragon Temple for it, he realized a massacre was likely imminent tonight. But what would become of his two companions? He had come under a false identity and, to ensure his cover, had not brought any entourage. He was completely isolated in this situation. Just when despair began to creep in, he spotted Jacob and Elaine huddled together in the crowd, their heads tucked into their arms. Suddenly, a wave of relief washed over him: "These two are Brother Wade's in-laws. Surely, Charlie won't just stand by, right? As long as we can hold out until Charlie arrives, we’ll be saved!" "When Charlie single-handedly eliminated members of my base, he was unfazed, and no one could challenge him. He should be more than capable of handling these people." With this thought, he turned to glance toward the entrance. Seeing the armed men in black stationed at the door, he sighed: "Brother Wade, why aren't you here? If you were, those fools would be subdued in no time. But what if you don't even know about this situation? If you can't save me, how will you explain your failure to your wife regarding her parents?" At that moment, the black-clad leader glanced at Hamid. Noticing that Hamid was quietly staring at the door, he wondered, "Is he seriously thinking someone will come to rescue him? I've already tracked his whereabouts. He came here without his entourage; how could anyone possibly save him?" With this thought, the leader devised his next plan. Once communication was restored, he intended to let the tourists and celebrities livestream their massacre, killing Hamid on air to implicate the Dragon Temple. Then they would evacuate swiftly before Maldives government forces arrived, ensuring the entire operation went perfectly. Meanwhile, Charlie had stealthily approached the bar. He noticed several men in black exiting the bar with the island manager, indicating they must aim to fix the Internet. The area was under their control, and after gauging the situation was relatively stable, he inferred their plan was to refrain from killing the bar patrons until the Internet was restored. With that in mind, Charlie turned to follow the manager. As they veered off the guards' sight and navigated through a winding, dense jungle path on Baima Island, Charlie's voice rang out, "You there, stop!" The men in black jumped in surprise, quickly turning to aim their weapons at Charlie. One of them nervously questioned, "Who are you?! Are you looking to get yourself killed?" Charlie strode confidently toward them, responding casually, "That's right. You're the ones looking for trouble. If you dare, go ahead and shoot." The manager recognized Charlie as one of the island's guests and urgently interjected, "Mr. Wade, please don't do anything rash. They... they are truly dangerous. There are many corpses outside the restaurant, blood everywhere!" Charlie smiled and reassured him, "Don't worry. While they may be able to kill others, they won't be able to kill me." The lead man in black, now recognizing Charlie as a guest, cursed under his breath, "What the hell? Do you think we're playing a movie here? Go die!" Without hesitation, he attempted to pull the trigger. Yet in an instant, he realized that the trigger felt completely welded to the gun, refusing to budge no matter how hard he pulled. His arm tensed with effort, and he felt a sharp pain in his fingers; his joints were screaming, yet the trigger remained immobile. Panicking, he shouted to the others, "What’s wrong with this guy? Hurry up and shoot him!" The others complied but soon echoed his predicament, "Captain, my gun is jammed!" "I can’t pull mine either!" Desperately, the captain reached for his communicator, but suddenly his hand froze and wouldn’t move. In a cold sweat, he looked at Charlie, asking nervously, "Who are you? Is this your doing?" Charlie smirked with disdain, "This isn’t a trick of mine—it's one from someone you should know!" He then frowned, his face darkening with intent, and exclaimed, "Now tell me, who are you? What’s your mission here? Speak, and I can end your suffering quickly. Otherwise, I will make you wish for death."

The man shouted defiantly, "No matter who you think you are, you won't get a word from me! If you doubt it, just try!" Charlie scoffed, "You’re not worth my time." With that, he retrieved a room card from his pocket, flicking his wrist as his reiki enveloped the card and sent it flying through the air at high speed! The energy surrounding the card made it sharp enough to cut through iron, and as it navigated the space around them, a barrier formed to protect it from harm. The card whistled through the air, and in an instant, it circled around the man and severed his arms at the shoulders! He was left with gaping wounds that gushed blood like bursting fire hydrants, splattering those nearby with the warm, sticky, and foul liquid. Incredibly, the room card remained pristine, sailing back effortlessly into Charlie’s hand. At that moment, Charlie had made considerable progress in his abilities, bolstered by the enhancements from Maria's ring and the Four Treasures of the Study. Despite losing the Soul-Punching Blade, he could utilize any object for destruction—even something as unassuming as a room card became a weapon of mass devastation in his hands! The onlookers were frozen in shock, unable to comprehend the nightmare unfolding before them. The man whose arms had been severed was in excruciating pain, teetering on the brink of consciousness. He attempted to scream, but it felt as though his throat was gripped by an invisible force, leaving him to only emit pitiful whimpers. This display caused the manager to convulse violently before rolling his eyes and fainting to the ground. Charlie, indifferent to both the manager and the wounded man, turned his icy gaze to the others smeared with blood and coldly declared, "Now I’ll give you a chance; will you answer my questions honestly?" One of them quickly blurted out, "Please spare my life! I'll tell you everything!" The others echoed in agreement, "I’ll say it! I’ll willingly talk!" Charlie regarded them with indifference, stating coldly, "It’s too late. I only need one of you alive." With that, the room card was hurled again, swiftly cutting the throats of the remaining men, causing them to drop lifelessly to the ground. The only one left standing was so terrified he wet himself. Though he typically dealt in violence, he had never witnessed such a horrifying spectacle. Charlie's method of killing resembled that of a demonic reaper in his eyes, and this swift, merciless carnage unsettled him far more than any foe could. He trembled uncontrollably as he stuttered, "We... we are mercenaries hired by the American Blackwater Company... here to assist the Syrian opposition in assassinating Hamid and staging a terrorist attack to frame the Dragon Temple..." Surprised, Charlie realized these individuals were not targeting Tawanna or Bernard Arnault as he initially thought but were indeed after Hamid. What was even more shocking was their collusion with the opposition. He couldn’t fathom their plan—killing Hamid and framing the Dragon Temple for the attack would also turn his loyal army against him. In quick response, the opposition had secretly allied with a high-ranking official working under Hamid, just waiting for the perfect moment to create chaos. Charlie frowned, recognizing the brutality of this scheme. If successful, the opposition would not only seize Hamid's stronghold and co-opt his forces but also tarnish the Dragon Temple’s reputation globally, ultimately enabling a collaborative strike on them with Blackwater's support. The potential consequences made his stomach churn. Hamid had remarked just yesterday that the opposition had accepted the prior agreement between Dragon Temple and the government, but little did he know they were plotting a betrayal. Charlie felt a rising disgust within him as he loathed those who betrayed trust and stabbed others in the back. If the opposition executed their plan unchecked, Dragon Temple’s substantial investments would leave them empty-handed while others reaped the rewards. With this in mind, a plan began to form in Charlie's mind. Since they aimed to kill two birds with one stone, he would make sure they ended up shooting themselves in the foot. The Blackwater Company may as well have fallen into the trap set by the Wade family today—they could only blame themselves for underestimating their opponents!
