Chapter - 4638

Aslan cautiously stood in front of Philip. Although he was scared, he did not forget his duty.

"Don't worry, he seems to be in a deep coma. Although breathing, he's not conscious. If I'm not mistaken, he must be a native of the secret realm. We're so lucky to meet one today!" Philip smiled, feeling that this trip was worthwhile.

Aslan said in disbelief, "How can he be a native? If so, I should've seen the natives during the hunt thousands of years ago, but I have no impression of them at all!"

Seeing Aslan's doubts, Philip patted his head. "Didn't you say that they prefer peace to fighting? The others were more than enough to hunt you down. The Cave Dwellers didn't have to show up."

After saying this, Philip walked to the back of the 'statue'. He sensed that the treasure was deeper inside the cave.

As they walked farther, Philip felt stronger energy fluctuations from the treasure.

They were moving forward cautiously when a bird's screech made Aslan jump in fright.

Aslan wished he could tear the bird into pieces. He was already cautious enough, but this mean bird dared to scare him again.

"Damn it, when I catch that damned bird, I'm going to pull its feathers out one by one before poking them back in!"

The grudge between Aslan and the bird was quite deep. Philip felt that the bird was very annoying too.

"Can you recall what treasure the bird brought into the cave? It's very important!" Philip asked curiously.

If he knew what it was, at least he would have an idea of what to look for.

Aslan said in embarrassment, "I'm not sure. It has been so long. How could I remember?"

Aslan felt very awkward about not paying attention to this matter back then.

Philip thought it was strange because he felt that the bird was not very powerful.

Generally speaking, guardian divine beasts were very powerful, but this bird was absolute trash with no ability other than scaring them. Hence, Philip was almost certain there was something wrong with this treasure!

With no other clue about this, Philip could only bite the bullet and move forward. However, he was more cautious this time.

After a few steps, they saw a brightly lit hall.

Seeing this, Philip was surprised. He thought these people lived in a dark cave, but their dwelling turned out to be such a high-end place.

There was a statue made of pure gold at the front of the hall, which was the bird upon closer look.

Aslan was so angry that he wanted to smash the bird statue. However, Philip felt that there was something unusual about the statue.

Philip had encountered an extremely powerful being in the land of the other shore that radiated the same vibe as this bird statue.
