Aslan was surprised to see Bruno calming down so quickly.

Philip signaled for the others to leave. They had other things to do. He could deal with this joker on his own. Everyone nodded and went to the backyard with their snacks. Only four people remained in the living room.

Martha sat without moving, at a loss for words. Meanwhile, Bruno and Aslan faced each other like stone statues.

Philip looked at this scene and felt something familiar about this man. He was about to check with Fennel when he recalled that he had assigned Fennel to teach the kids to practice. He felt a sense of familiarity in Bruno.

It was neither from his appearance nor poise but his vibe that felt familiar.

"Have you come into contact with any powerful people recently?" Philip asked curiously.

The change in this person's vibe should be the result of eating something precious or having someone powerful to force the change.

Bruno frowned in embarrassment, unwilling to answer Philip's question. The reclusive world was his family secret, and he was not stupid enough to blurt it out.

"Do you refuse to tell us?" Aslan patted Bruno's face as if he was humiliating him.

Bruno was furious that this stinking bodyguard dared to be so bold. No one had ever dared to treat him like this.

"Dear Mother-in-law, care to explain this?" Philip shifted his attention from Bruno to Martha.

He knew that Martha was the cause of all this. If she had not messed around, Bruno would not have turned up at the door for no reason.

Martha panicked at Philip's stare. She knew that she messed up. However, she was not someone to admit her mistake.

She opened her mouth, but nothing was heard.

Bruno looked at Philip solemnly. He wanted to speak but was a little afraid of Aslan.

Philip signaled Aslan to let Bruno go.

Aslan released his hold on Bruno and sat down on a chair leisurely.

Bruno wished he could wipe off the taunting look on Aslan's face by killing him. He vowed to tell his father about this incident and kill Aslan at all costs. Not only Aslan but everyone in this villa!
