Rich told them everything he knew while Buck nodded along. He knew about it too and was here for the excitement because of this legend.

However, there was no excitement, and he even suspected that it was a scam.

"So? Did anyone find the treasure?" Philip joked.

Of course, he knew the treasure mentioned had to be the one he found. Now that it was in his hands, no one else could ever find it.

The other two shook their heads ruefully.

"It'd be great if I found it. I feel like we've fallen for a scam. How could there be such an amazing treasure? And that rumor about opening another time and space? Simply ridiculous!" Rich sneered, not believing a word of it.

He was skeptical at first and even more annoyed now.

He vowed to catch the person who spread the rumor and teach him a good lesson so that he would not dare to say another word from now on.

Philip looked at Buck. Rich was unreliable, and he wanted to hear from Buck.

Buck himself shook his head helplessly. He found nothing either.

Seeing this, Philip smiled at their reactions and shrugged as if he did not care about it.

"This is clearly a gimmick made up by the merchants to promote the economic development of West Ocean Island," Philip said calmly as if giving a perfect explanation for all this.

Buck and Rich nodded, they agreed with Philip's thought. That was probably the case.

They refused to admit that they were foolish enough to fall for it.

Seeing his reaction, Philip and Buck laughed without a word.

Philip immersed his thoughts into Verge Tower. He wanted to examine the shabby security door.

The door looked very broken down as if it had been used for decades and was simply abandoned on the street.

He tried to use his consciousness to open the door but found no anomaly after opening it. He thought he would find an alternate space or a space tunnel like in the movies, but there was nothing.
