Chapter - 4967

However, Philip's seemingly ordinary pill actually healed his injuries. Emery changed his view about Philip.

At first, he thought Philip was a young talent and a man worth following. Now, he felt that Philip was not human. He was kind of deity.

Only a god could come up with such an amazing pill!

Emery stood up and knelt to Philip.

Philip was shocked by Emery's actions. Delia and Aslan were dumbfounded too.

Kneeling was an extremely sincere way of expressing gratitude no matter where they were.

Philip was confused. He simply got rid of the Pill Guild, but the problem was not completely resolved yet.

Why would Emery make such a grand gesture?

Philip quickly helped Emery up.

Emery looked at Philip and grabbed the latter.

"If the Smith Guild decides to follow someone one day, I hope that person will be you!" Emery said from the bottom of his heart.

He had a good impression of Philip and knew he was definitely not an ordinary person after producing such a pill.

How could a normal person own such an amazing pill?

At least, he had never seen anything like it over the years. He also recalled the conversations he overheard while he was imprisoned.

People from the Pill Guild kept talking about some pills. Those pills were not made by them but purchased from outside.

Apparently, they spent a huge fortune just to buy five pills, and they also offended the pill maker. To sum it they were worried about it.

Emery had not taken the matter to heart when he heard about it.

In his opinion, that was the Pill Guild's business and had nothing to do with him at all. Thus, he simply overheard the snippets of conversations while suffering through the beatings.

Now that he had seen the Pill Guild's attitude toward Philip and the pill Philip gave him, Emery cleverly put the clues together. If Philip was not the pill maker, the snobs from the Pill Guild would never have chosen to back off.

They had seized this place for several days and were torturing the members of the Smith Guild.

It was likely that many members would not have been able to bear it anymore and chosen to surrender in the next few days.

The Pill Guild was most likely going to take over the Smith Guild before long.

In a nutshell, victory was in sight, and there was no way the Pill Guild would choose to back off that easily.

Although Emery knew that they would eventually make a comeback, it was a matter of time. Given enough time, even a piece of metal could turn into a fine sword.

"Did you make the pill just now?" Emery solemnly asked Philip. He knew that Philip was that talent.
