Chapter - 5314

On the other hand, of course, Tory was the most surprised.

He had been watching silently and behaving well the whole time. He could listen and digest the information quietly before this, but he lost control after hearing Aslan’s complaints.

How can such a genius exist in this world?

Kid, how old are you?

Although Custard was tall, his face was clearly immature. He was very young at first glance. Anyone would be shocked to see a child with such great abilities.

Tory was so flabbergasted that he thought dying would be the better option. He had worked so hard for more than 30 years, but he had only made it this far.

He thought it was good enough to become a small official in Imperial City.

In comparison to Custard, however, he was nothing. Sure enough, one only had the right to speak if one was strong enough.

“I have the sudden urge to become your student now,” Tory said to Philip from the bottom of his heart.

Any expert could be hailed as a teacher. If Philip’s student was good enough to teach him something, it proved how powerful Philip was.

Tory knew that Custard was more than qualified to become his teacher.

Philip was a superior being, and it was truly a great honor that he was willing to become friends with a normal person like Tory.

Tory was very moved and felt that Philip sincerely held him in high regard! He felt guilty that he was of no help to Philip even though the other party had always helped him.

After thinking about it, Tory knelt to Philip and said, “Thank you for your help. Without you, I would’ve only been able to stay the mayor of Orbit City. Iwould‘ve even ended up dead during the beast crisis!”

Tory was right about that. With his strength, it would have been impossible for him to survive the beast crisis.

Orbit City was breached back then, and as the mayor, he had to stand guard at the danger zone and protect his subjects. Tory knew that he would have been dead if not for Philip ‘s help.

Philip was unhappy with his courtesy.

“We’re buddies. If you do this again, I won’t bring you along anymore. I’m taking all of you to explore the ancient ruins. Don’t you understand what it means?” Philip said helplessly.

Tory was always so courteous.

People in this world were different from Philip’s original world, after all. He understood Tory’s action but could not accept it.

As Philip helped him up, Tory’s eyes welled up with tears. He knew Philip had acknowledged him.
