Chapter - 5373

Lyle and Philip laughed at Aslan’s frustration.

“What can you do about it? Do you want to beat them up? You are a weirdo. How can you blame anyone?” Lyle said cheerfully.

Now that Aslan was back, Lyle became more bubbly.

Lyle usually did not have someone to bicker with, but now that Aslan was back, his life was full of fun again.

“Everyone, I plan to go home tonight and tell my family about my plans. I’ll be there on time tomorrow morning,” Poppy said to everyone with a smile on her face.

She had made great progress during this time and could not wait to show her closest family. Although the rest of her family members were not worth mentioning, her parents were good to her.

“Go ahead. Remember to take care of yourself. Don’t treat everyone as a good person, especially now that you have learned so much. Others may have thoughts about you,” Philip reminded Poppy.

Poppy was very naive and paid little attention to other things.

Philip was worried that someone would take advantage of Poppy’s innocence.

Poppy lowered her head in embarrassment. She knew that she was too trusting of others, so she took note of Philip’s reminder.

“Don’t worry, grand-teacher. I’ll return safe and sound!”

Seeing her confidence, Philip gave her permission to go home. He could not stop Poppy from going home.

Mr. Lindell looked at his precious apprentice with caution and worry but hesitated to speak. As Poppy’s teacher, Mr. Lindell knew Poppy’s family quite well, so he had the right to speak.

Philip noticed his reaction but returned to his room without a word. He had gained a lot recently, so he had to sort it out.

Mr. Lindell grabbed Poppy and gave her some instructions before she left.

The night passed quickly, and Philip and the others woke up early. Surprisingly, Mr. Lindell woke up early too.

“I thought older people liked to sleep in. Why are you different? Have you reached such a powerful state that you don’t need sleep anymore?” Aslan teased Mr. Lindell.

Just like Lyle, Aslan liked to tease others. However, Mr. Lindell ignored Aslan’s teasing, and his face was devoid of his usual smile.

He looked at Aslan nervously and said solemnly, “You guys have to take good care of my precious apprentice. It’s not easy for that girl to come this far!” Mr. Lindell emphasized his point.

Aslan and Lyle rolled their eyes, feeling that Mr. Lindell was wasting his breath.

“What are you saying? Poppy is our comrade. How can we not take care of her? Besides, Philip is around!”
