Chapter - 5438

Manta pulled up a chair and sat next to Dustin while signaling the maid to leave.

The maid’s eyes lit up at the sight of the hero saving a damsel in distress.

Dustin heard someone speaking and looked up indifferently. The next second, he trembled in fear at the sight of the senior apprentice of the Spade Guild.

“Oh, what brings you here? Why didn’t you tell me that you were coming so that I could greet you at the door?” Dustin flattered Manta like a lapdog.

Although Manta was not skilled in making pills or weapons, he was so strong that he was not to be trifled with.

Dustin thought he could forge a good relationship with Manta and see if they could do some business dealings.

“I’m here to see you for something important, of course.” Manta’s attitude was not very good.

He had always looked down on Dustin’s crooked ways. In his opinion, Dustin was simply good at petty tricks. True abilities were things like making pills and so on, such as that outstanding elder brother of his.

If Dustin had a good relationship with his brother, Manta might consider maintaining a good relationship with Dustin.

Unfortunately, Dustin was a fool, acting like an immature and pampered child who simply had to go against his promising brother.

Manta was worried about offending Declan if he got too close to Dustin, which would be bad for him.

“What’s up?” Dustin became serious and waved his hand for his men to leave.

Everyone nodded and left quickly as if running for their lives. The maids breathed a sigh of relief for the narrow escape.

Manta felt sick to the stomach at the sight of the maids in skimpy clothing. However, his good upbringing prevented him from displaying his emotions openly.

“Hehe, you really know how to enjoy life at your age, Dustin,” Manta marveled.

Dustin flushed with embarrassment. He did not expect Manta to turn up. Although abrupt, it was good for him to be acquainted with Manta.

“It’s good to have a message once in a while,” Dustin explained awkwardly. Although upset, he smiled at Manta.

Manta did not waste time. He hated the smell here.

“Let’s talk outside…”

After saying that, he led Dustin to the garden as if he owned the place.

The garden was empty. Everyone stayed away when they saw Dustin coming out, unwilling to make contact with him.
