The First Heir/

Chapter - 5455

Chapter - 5455

Manta was thinking of a way to kill Philip.

The guild was full of plotting against each other. Although his status was very high, it was impossible for him to seize power. The only way was to stay in the guild, eke out a living, and find an opportunity to seize power.

That was why Manta did not dare to offend the guild leader.

At least for now, he had a good image in front of the guild leader, and he was being groomed as a successor. It would be a huge loss for him if anything went wrong because of Philip.

More importantly, once he became the heir of the guild, he would have every right to be with Ira, the holy maiden.

Ira had remained pure and innocent over the years, and Manta had the most contact with her.

Manta practically watched Ira grow up and knew that she was pure. Someone like this would be of great help to his practice. He never thought that Philip would catch Ira’s eye.

Although he had no evidence, he guessed Ira must have ideas about Philip. Manta would never allow this.

Ira had no idea about Manta‘s quick wit. She only knew what she should do.

Philip opened the door and invited them in. He did not expect to see them so quickly. It seemed that this guild was not as stupid as he thought

Philip thought that the Spada Guild would choose to avoid this topic or steal his secret by force.

However, the guild actually sent their senior apprentice to apologize to him, which was beyond Philip’s expectations.

“What a rare visitor. I didn’t expect to see you so soon. Since you’re here to apologize to Philip, you have to put on a good show. Don’t be insincere about it,” Asian chattered incessantly.

Manta was very unhappy with Aslan‘s tone but he dared not say a word. After all, Ira was still around. He could only apologize properly and leave.

“I’m really sorry. I didn’t expect to cause such serious consequences. I sincerely apologize to you…”

“I’ll go to the city gates to apologize to the butcher’s family later. Our people have contacted the butcher’s family. Please rest assured that I’ll keep my word.” Manta lowered his head to Philip, and Philip was almost bowled over by his good attitude.

It seemed that Manta had turned over a new leaf.

Seeing that, Philip waved his hand and let them leave without another word.

“That’s enough. You can leave now…” Philip waved his hand for them to leave.

His time was precious and should not be wasted on them.
