Chapter - 3042

The other party happened to be a diehard fan of the former Great Marshal. Upon hearing that this matter could potentially affect the Great Marshal's reputation, they immediately expressed their commitment to taking it seriously and handling it with caution.

After a series of transfers, the call finally reached the Dovestreet police station.

The Dovestreet police station immediately sent officers to Isaac's house.

The voice of a middle-aged woman quickly emanated from the other end of the phone. "Hello? May I know who's calling? The officers informed me that you were trying to reach me."

"Izzy..." Isaac said, choking back tears. "Izzy, it's me. I... I've returned."

After a moment of silence on the phone, a voice filled with astonishment exclaimed, “Dad? Is this really you? Only my dad would call me 'Izzy'! Dad, is that you? Is it really you?"

Isaac replied, "It's me, Izzy. I'm back. I'm so sorry!"

To everyone's surprise, the middleaged woman on the other end of the line burst into tears. "Dad, you... you're finally back. Do you know what I've been through all these years? Mom missed you too much and passed away not long after you left. I was left all alone..."

Isaac could no longer control his emotions as tears streamed down his face.

The touching reunion between a father and a daughter moved countless people to tears.

After a long while, Isaac finally said, "Izzy, I have some matters to attend to right now. Let's end the call here. Once I'm done with everything here, I'll come find you."

Isaac's daughter, Isabelle, cried out, "Dad, no! Please tell me where you are right now. I'm coming to find you!"

After much patient persuasion from Isaac, Isabelle finally managed to calm her emotions, agreeing to wait obediently for him at home.

Isaac took a deep breath to compose himself upon ending the call before saying, "Now, do you all believe me?"

A reporter questioned, "Who knows if this is all a charade you've

orchestrated? The woman on the other end of the line might just be an actress you've arranged."

Isaac said, "I knew you would say that, which is why I have prepared even more evidence."

"Mr. Price, could you please connect us to the border via video chat?"

Kyran nodded. "No problem."

Soon, a video image appeared on the large screen, revealing tens of thousands of Isaac's compatriots who had just escaped from Theos Island and were now stranded on the eastern coastline.

Isaac called out, "Could you please provide your home addresses? We need to verify your identities."

"Let me go first!" A middle-aged man eagerly stepped forward. "I'm Luther Grant, from Colstrax, Lofbury. Can anyone help me get in touch with my family? I live at 38 Easton Street, and the phone number of my home is 7658254... When I left home, I was only twenty years old, and my mother was gravely ill. Oh, dear God, I beg of you to bless my mother. I hope she's still alive..."

A reporter immediately dialed the phone number he mentioned.

The call connected quickly.

The voice of an elderly woman, weathered and hoarse, traveled from the other end of the line, interrupted by occasional coughs. "Who is it? Who's there..."

The man's voice quivered with emotion. "Mother, it's me, Luthy... I've returned. Thank goodness the phone number hasn't changed..."

A few murmurs could be heard on the other end of the phone before the old woman's tone grew urgent and loud. "Luthy... Luthy... You're my Luthy... My boy... Oh, my baby, you're finally home. I've missed you so much..."

A bout of severe coughing ensued, interrupting the old woman's words.

The man, Luther, was frantic. "Mom? What's wrong with you?"

A young woman's voice then interjected, "Hello? Who are you, and what did you just say to her? This is the first time she's had such a strong reaction to something in years, given her struggle with dementia. It seems like she may have regained her memory."

Another touching scene of a family reunion unfolded.

Next, several more refugees came forward, confirming their identities.
