Chapter - 3350

It seemed that he had underestimated the Dark Swamp. Despite feeling like they had traveled quite a distance, they were still on the edge of the swamp.

Although they had avoided danger, Zeke felt a sense of dissatisfaction.

"Get ready, we're heading in to take a look," Zeke instructed Anvindr.

Anvindr's expression was extremely unpleasant.

"Zeke, don't act impulsively. Why be so curious? It's easy to go in but hard to come out, isn't it?"

"Anvindr, just obey. If you don't want to. follow, then continue staying on the tree," Zeke said, taking out the rope again as if he was going to tie up Anvindr.

This left Anvindr dumbfounded.

He had clearly offered good advice, yet somehow it backfired.

"Don't tie me up. Let's go. You refuse to be convinced until we are faced with the grim reality, huh? Zeke, if we encounter danger, you'll know when to retreat. I hope we'll have a chance to escape unscathed!" he gritted his teeth and agreed.

"Okay, in that case, prepare yourself properly. I won't be idle either. Let's refine some good stuff here," Zeke said.

Under Anvindr's curious gaze, he took out many beast crystalline cores.

These crystalline cores were obtained along the way

Zeke had imbued all the crystalline cores with formations, even going so far as to add formation flags to some of the more precious ones.

"Zeke, are you making explosive crystalline cores? This is such a waste. There's no need for it!"

Even though those crystalline cores weren't Anvindr's, he couldn't help but feel sorry for them and spoke up.

"You know nothing," Zeke retorted, giving him a disdainful look. "Crystalline cores remain cores in your hand forever. They only become valuable when they're put to use."

"F*ck!" Anvindr's face contorted as he cursed under his breath.

What kind of twisted logic is this? I can't believe he'd say that.

Although he cursed Zeke inwardly, subconsciously, he still thought highly of Zeke.

After all, using crystalline cores like this would waste a lot of their effects. He wouldn't do that.

If it were him, he would certainly wait until the Secret Realm of Mount Kush was closed before taking out the valuable items to exchange for something good, or perhaps use them himself. He would never resort to using them as a one-time bomb.

Clearly, Zeke was taking a gamble. He was betting that they could obtain good opportunities after entering the Dark Swamp, even if it meant sacrificing the cores.

This kind of extravagant behavior was something even disciples of ancient martial sects couldn't do.

"What about the blue crystal Aretta gave you?" he asked curiously.

"I've used it," Zeke replied nonchalantly.

As Anvindr stared at him, flabbergasted, he pointed to the depths of the Dark Swamp and said, "Let's go. Be cautious, the surroundings are too dangerous."

"Okay." Anvindr relaxed slightly.

Zeke wasn't too reckless; that was good.

If he were a complete hothead, Anvindr wouldn't dare to follow him.

The two cautiously moved forward, one after the other.

In fact, the Dark Swamp wasn't particularly vast. It was just that the surroundings were too dark and dangerous, forcing cultivators to slow down, which made the exploration area much smaller, making the swamp seem far more expansive than it actually was.

After half a day of progress, the already dim swamp grew even darker. It was almost impossible to see one's hand in front of them, so they had to rely on their spiritual consciousness and perception to move forward.

Fortunately, a radiant full moon gradually ascended, bringing some light back into view.

"What a strange sky."

A sense of dread settled in Zeke's heart. This kind of bizarre celestial phenomenon was rarely seen.

His heart also grew somewhat tense due to the oppressive darkness that surrounded him.

Even he was nervous, let alone Anvindr. The latter was trembling all over, his face a picture of terror.

"Zeke, something's not right. When I came here a few days ago, the sky wasn't so strange and I could see well, unlike now. It seems that night has already fallen, but we better not hunt. Let's find a place to hide first."
